Privacy
Your bill stays on your iPhone.
Solar Bill Check Australia is designed without accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. The app does not upload or read the electricity bill you select.
Effective 13 September 2026
Information used by the app
You may enter a postcode, solar-system details, electricity-bill totals, and whether you saw an inverter warning. Solar Bill Check uses those confirmed values on your device to calculate a bill-based estimate and safe next steps. The result is not an electrical diagnosis.
Selected documents
If you choose a PDF or image, the app uses its name only to help you keep the correct bill in view while entering totals. Solar Bill Check does not read, upload, retain, or send the document to us. You can also use the app without selecting a document.
Purchases
The optional full report is a one-time in-app purchase for one set of confirmed figures. Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your card or Apple Account credentials. The app stores confirmed report figures and limited transaction metadata in its private on-device database. A random purchase reference is shared with Apple to deliver the purchase to the correct saved report; it does not contain your bill figures or identity. Reopen reports from Saved reports on the home screen. Apple may retain purchase records under its own privacy policy.

Support emails
If you email support, we use your email address and message only to respond. Do not send bills, account numbers, passwords, payment-card details, or urgent safety reports.
Your choices
Starting another check clears the current form but keeps confirmed reports in Saved reports. Deleting the app removes its local reports and purchase-delivery records. There is no account or cloud report recovery, so share any report you want to keep before deleting the app. Earlier beta versions used the iOS Keychain for purchase metadata; those legacy records are not deleted by this update and may persist after uninstalling.
